I love the holiday season. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Halloween, but honestly the whole period between October until the end of January is my favorite time of the year.
Although I’m a little sad that Halloween is over, I pack up my spooky decorations and get excited for the Christmas decor.
I’ll admit, I put out Christmas decorations pretty early. I think I waited maybe two weeks after Halloween to start putting things out. I did wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate outside. I didn’t want my neighbors to judge me too hard.
Aside from the decorations, I do really like all the time that we get to spend with family during this time. In November I actually got to see even more family than usual because one of my cousin’s is having a baby and we all attended her shower. It was really nice to see everyone. It had been a few years since I’ve seen quite a few of them.
A couple weeks later we celebrated Thanksgiving. It was really nice and super chill. Again it was good to see everyone.
I know this post is coming pretty late, but I decided that I’m going to be unapologetic about it. Life happens and honestly it’s okay that I’m living it and not just posting about it online.
